1.. Please make the templates according to the pattern..
Please draw the square and triangle pieces yourself to make the templates
2. Arrange the fabric scraps as desired, and connect them diagonally in a row first. Connect them all as shown in the photo, and once the top is complete, trim the seam allowance on the back into a pinwheel shape.
3. After ironing the top neatly, lay the lining (inside up) + batting + top (outside up) in that order, and baste from the center outwards.
4. Quilt along the patched lines. Please be careful not to pull the quilting too tight, as this may cause the size to shrink and leave insufficient seam allowance when placing the actual pattern over it.
5. Place the actual oval pattern over the fabric and trace it. Cut it out leaving a 0.7cm seam allowance.
6. Inside the seam line Position the piping with pins Then secure it with a running stitch.
7. Place the side with the lining inside, batting, and outer fabric facing up. Baste it, and then quilt along the lines.
8. Fold it in half lengthwise, then fold the two halves facing each other. After blind stitching, insert the D-ring, fold it in half, and finish with stitching.
9. Draw the batting, lining, and outer fabric to 30cm x 3.8cm, then cut out two pieces of each, leaving a 0.7cm seam allowance. Cut the outer fabric exactly to the size. Cut the batting and lining with generous seam allowances. Place them so that the right side of the batting and lining and the inside side of the outer fabric are on top. Due to the nature of the outer fabric used, the inside and outside are identical, so they cannot be distinguished in the photo. When using other fabrics, please make sure to place them in the correct order!
I'll explain it using just one picture~ After quilting the seam line of the zipper connection, trim the batting near the seam line. Place the outer fabric on top, fold it back over, and secure it with pins.
Remove the pins, iron, and baste. Trim off the extra batting and lining left on both sides. Once the quilting is finished, attach the zipper.
10. Place the pattern on the side and trace it. Cut it out leaving a 0.7cm seam allowance. Tidy up the excess batting and lining around the zipper connection point. Align the top center of the side with the handle loop. As shown in the photo, secure the zipper connection point and the side with pins, then connect them with tight stitching, one stitch at a time. After connecting, wrap the seam allowance with bias tape to finish neatly.
11. After making and attaching the inner pocket, Place the pattern on the inside and draw the seam allowance lines and the top, bottom, left, and right center points again.
After accurately marking the center of the bottom side and the center of the zipper connection point, make sure to leave the zipper fully open, and secure it to the main body with pins.
Please connect them stitch by stitch.
12.. After cutting the lining bias to a width of 4cm~
Finish the connected seam allowance with bias binding.
13.. Once the bias binding is finished and you turn it inside out, it looks like this
14. Please attach the handles at intervals of 11cm.
15. Please attach a zipper pull that matches the bag.
16.. Ta-da
~~~ The bag is finally finished~~~
