I finally have another tutorial for the boys, it’s been too long. Every time I sew for my little guy I tell myself I need to do it more. He gets so excited, much more than his sister. He actually watched me sew this entire wallet start to finish and literally couldn’t wait to get it in his little hands.
It’s the perfect cute mini coin purse and wallet to slip inside your main bag. Such a pretty project to sew, and because it’s small, this accordion wallet pattern uses only a small amount of fabric. It’s the ideal scrap-buster pattern and also a nice gift idea to sew for a friend.
This little keychain wallet was one of the first things I made once I figured out how to make my own patterns, and I've used one on my keychain for months. I love how convenient it is to stash a lip balm, some hair ties, or even a couple cards if you're just running a quick errand.
I needed a new wallet. I sat down and thought about how I used my previous wallet, and what items I would want in a new design to suit my needs. As it turns out, I wanted a wallet that would hold my money, credit cards, change, and cell phone. Maybe even my keys or some sunglasses if room spared. I wanted a wallet with a leather exterior, 2 inner pockets, and lots of pockets for credit cards or other annual membership cards.
This is the perfect wallet that can be sewed as a gift. You can also stash some cash in it as a bonus surprise! The kids will love carrying this wallet to school too to keep their cash safe. Make this wallet in one of your kid’s favorite fabric and they will love their new wallet!
