Drawstring bag has often been discussed in other blogs, including as a basic sewing that is quite easy, short and best seller because it is versatile. For friends who are experienced and proficient in making them, please take a look at my other posts, or you can review this tutorial and share your experiences with other friends who are still beginners.
I think this guy is so darn cute. If a big eyeball, crazy mouth, and ribbon hair is considered cute. :)
I started out with a simple shape, and then I cut out a mouth. You don’t need to cut out a mouth, but I wanted a place for a baby to grab on to and hold the toy easily. I wanted one huge eyeball so I cut that out of some scrap fabric.
It has been a while since the Business Card Holder has made its way to its own blog post! As I was listing my last batch into my shop.
I thought it might be time to switch things up a bit and add a little
bit more pizzazz to the ‘ol card holder. And, a ruffle was born!
Do you find yourself searching the endless abyss of your purse for chapstick? Do you cringe every time the teller asks for their promotional card? Don't you wish you had hand sanitizer after using that public restroom with no soap? Do your kids utilize an overabundance of band aids? If so; have no fear the purse organizer is here!
This tutorial is for a soccer or sports bag for a child. It has a cinch top and the straps can be used as a backpack. The measurements I will give you are for a small bag; just large enough for a 4-year-old’s cleats and shin guards. If you have an older child (with larger gear) or you want to fit more in the bag, you’ll have to size up accordingly.
This is going to be a long post where I will attempt to explain to you how I sewed my fringed leather bucket entirely by hand. I’ll be including the cutting dimensions and entire process of making this bag, which is my own design and evolved as I made it. I love it, actually! Which is a good thing, because it took me hours and hours to make.
I finally have another tutorial for the boys, it’s been too long. Every time I sew for my little guy I tell myself I need to do it more. He gets so excited, much more than his sister. He actually watched me sew this entire wallet start to finish and literally couldn’t wait to get it in his little hands.
Being the short gal that I am, sometimes it’s hard to find a great pair of jeans that fit well in the length. A couple of years ago I found some awesome deals on Lucky jeans at Buckle in the mall, and they offered free alterations. I wanted to take the jeans on my trip to visit a friend in Atlanta the next day and there wasn’t time to leave the jeans at the store to be sewn.
