This is a macaron coin purse that was popular a long time ago. Honestly, it’s a bit awkward to use as a coin purse. I thought it would be perfect for organizing accessories, so I made one.
Materials
Aluminum circular frame
2 pieces of fabric 1.5 cm larger in diameter than the frame
2 pieces of fabric 0.5 cm larger in diameter than the frame
2 pieces of 2.5 cm * 3 cm fabric
2 pieces of compressed batting the same size as the frame
2 pieces of interfacing 0.2 cm smaller than the frame
1 zipper that fits the circumference of the circular frame
Gather the perimeter of a 1.5cm large diameter fabric with basting stitches, place the cotton batting and aluminum frame in the center, and pull tight.
Secure it by sewing as shown in the photo.
Secure the interfacing to the center of the fabric that is 0.5cm larger than the frame, baste the perimeter, and pull tight.
After overlapping and securing the zipper to the circumference, cover that part with two pieces of 2.5cm * 3cm fabric and blind stitch.
Secure the lid to the zipper with a blind stitch.
Blind stitching is also applied to the inside.
Then it's finished~~!
