This is how to make a bright flower-shaped fabric plate. DIY Sewing Tutorial.
It is great for storing small items or accessories on the desk.
I will draw the pattern first. Please draw a circle with a diameter of 20cm. You may adjust the size as you like.
Find the circumference of the circle
Please divide this perimeter into the desired number of equal parts. You can measure the length of the curve using a tape measure or a square ruler and mark it.
My circle has a circumference of 62.8 cm, and if you divide it into 6 equal parts, it is about 10.46... cm. I marked them at roughly 10.4 cm intervals.
Transfer the pattern onto adhesive batting and draw.
Cut without seam allowance.
You need two sheets of adhesive batting.
Cut the fabric by adding a 1cm seam allowance to the perimeter.
Please cut a total of four pieces of fabric.
Please attach fusible batting to each of the two pieces of fabric.
Pair two pieces of fabric together, place them right sides apart, and sew along the edges of the fusible batting. Please leave a small opening for turning.
Please trim the seam allowances of the edges short, excluding the opening.
Fold and iron the remaining seam allowance.
Turn it inside out through the opening and iron it while carefully shaping the edges.
Neatly arrange the opening and secure it with pins, and topstitch the edges.
Transfer the division points marked on the pattern onto the fabric and draw.
Please draw lines extending 4cm inward from the marked point.
Overlap the two sheets and secure them firmly.
Please sew along the marked lines.
Please mark points 2cm away from both sides of the point you marked.
With these two points facing each other
Please secure it with hand sewing.
Once you sew all six spots, a plate shaped like a flower petal is completed.
