 Materials Needed

Outer fabric: 1 piece, 27 x 32 cm

 3.5 x 90 cm - Bias

Lining fabric: 1 piece, 27 x 32 cm

1 piece, 15 x 21 cm - For inner pocket

Quilting batting (4 oz): 1 piece, 27 x 32 cm

Zipper: 1 piece, 25 cm

1.. Please create a large oval template for the pattern..

2. Place the actual oval pattern on the inside of the outer fabric and draw one piece. Cut it out with a seam allowance of 0.7cm. Cut out the lining, batting, inner pocket, and bias tape, and prepare them together.

3. Place the quilting batting and the outer fabric right side up on the inside of the lining, and baste.

4. Quilt along the large pattern. Depending on the fabric, you may also do a grid quilting pattern with 2.5cm spacing.

5. Fold the cut inner pocket in half. Sew a running stitch, leaving a gap, then turn it inside out. Close the gap with a blind stitch. I folded the top of the inner pocket about 1.5 cm and sewed it with a running stitch. Avoid the 6 cm center, as that will become the bottom. Attach the inner pocket in a suitable position.

6. Place the bias tape with the seam line drawn on it over the right side and secure it with pins. Connect the beginning and end of the bias tape and press the seam open. Then, sew a running stitch all the way around the seam line.

7. Fold the bias tape inward. Fold in the seam allowance, Insert pins, and sew with a blind stitch.

8. Mark the top and bottom center points, and align the center point of the zipper 3mm below the bias edge. Secure with pins, then sew with a backstitch.

Sew the bottom part of the zipper with a running stitch. For the curved parts, sew with a running stitch as if gathering.

Please attach the zipper to the other side in the same way.

9. Now that the zipper is finished, we need to finish the side seams, right? Starting from the ends of the zipper, hold them together and sew them downwards with a blind stitch.
