Let's get started.

You can get the pattern HERE

Seam allowances are included in the pattern!

You will need:
2 x outer pieces
2 x inner pieces (waxed cloth)
2 x patch pockets
2 x fusible interfacing (H250) each for the outer piece and patch pocket
2 strips for the leotard
1 cord, approx. 50 cm long
1 piece of webbing, approx. 20 cm long (depending on desired length)
1 snap hook with a matching opening for the webbing
1 fastener

Step 1 Place the tunnel strips right sides together and sew them together with a presser foot's width seam allowance.

Step 2 Turn right side out and place the seam at the top.

Step 3 Iron smoothly, then fold once lengthwise and iron again. The seam will be on the inside.

Step 4 Place the patch pocket right sides together and sew the top edge together.

Step 5 Unfold the bag, iron if necessary, fold wrong sides together and stitch along the top edge.

Step 6 Place the patch pocket onto an outer piece and sew it on along the sides and bottom.

Step 7 Place the tunnel on the front and back outer pieces and sew. (The back piece has a small additional detail.)

(The open side of the tunnel is on the outer edge)

Step 8 Place the inner part made of oilcloth onto the tunnel piece and outer part and sew it in place.

Step 9 Unfold and stitch once along the inside.

Step 10 This is what the front outer part should look like.

Step 11 Use a lighter to melt the ends of the ribbon together; this will prevent it from fraying when worn.

Step 12 Proceed almost exactly the same way with the back outer pocket piece. Simply place the webbing with the hook attached between the outer piece and the tunnel, then the inner piece (oilcloth), and finally sew everything together.

Step 13 Lay the sewn and stitched pieces apart and smooth them out.

Step 14 Place both pieces right sides together.

Step 15 Sew all the way around, except for the corners. Leave a turning opening at the bottom of the oilcloth.

Step 16 Place all four corners on top of each other and sew them together.

Step 17 This is how it should look. :-))

Step 18 Turn the bag inside out, shape it, and close the opening.

Step 19 The dog treat bag is almost finished.
