DIY Card Wallet Tutorial

Easy Fabric Card Holder Wallet - Beginner Free Sewing Tutorial. How to make a Card Holder.

Supplies:
- A piece of upholstery fabric measuring 9 cm by 22 cm;
- A rectangle of matching solid-colored fabric measuring 22 cm by 25 cm;
- Matching bias tape measuring 3 cm by 70 cm.

 

Procedure: 1. Pleat the 22 cm by 25 cm rectangle as shown in Diagram 1.

2. Make a stitch in the center = photo 2. 

3. Place the printed upholstery fabric underneath the folded section, with the wrong sides facing each other. Serge the edges and trim. (See photos 3 and 4)

4. Position the bias binding around the edge and baste it in place. (See photos 5 and 6 for how to add the bias binding.) 

Stitch, turn, baste the edge, and stitch again. All that remains is to put the 4 cards into position.
