1. Cut your two pieces of fabric (and possibly some non-woven fabric) according to the pattern.

 2. If you're using non-woven fabric, iron it onto your outer fabric.

3. Then place your two pieces of fabric edge to edge, right sides together. Pin.

4. Sew 5 mm from the edge on all sides EXCEPT on one of the 11 cm wide edges.

5. Using this unsewn edge, turn the whole thing right side out.

6. Sew your snap fastener now; this will hide the threads between the two fabrics.

7. Place the plastic bottom in place.

8. Fold your bias binding in half lengthwise and press it to crease. Place it astride the open edge and sew it. Trim the excess on each side, leaving 1 cm. Then cut the end of the inside of the bias binding diagonally. Fold the centimeter of bias binding inward, folding it diagonally, and then sew.

It should look like this:

9. Finally, give your purse its final shape by sewing the four corners together.

10. Using your iron, mark the folds to achieve your final look.
