How to Sew a Beautiful and Practical Pumpkin Basket. Sewing DIY Tutorial.
A beautiful pumpkin basket, no matter what you put in it... It's easy to make, and it's a great interior decoration too.
The fabric is beige from the "Spring" range at Fabric24.
The color is absolutely beautiful!
First, draw the pattern, then cut it out with a 1cm seam allowance.
I used a thick 7-ounce quilting batting for the center.
You don't need to add quilting batting, but I like a sturdy bottom when making a basket, so I added some.
I've made many by hand sewing, but this one was done quickly and easily with a sewing machine
The small circle in the center where the quilting batting is inserted.
Sew again.
Fill each cut along the perimeter with cotton.
Fold the seam allowance in half (about 0.5cm) and sew it securely with a double thread.
The beautiful pumpkin basket is complete!
