Mini Triangle Pouch Tutorial

It's a small pouch with a unique shape. This tutorial shows you how to sew a triangle pouch, great for holding small notions or coins.

It's beautiful and fun to open and close. 
Kids will love it, too.

It's perfect for carrying coins or earphones.

Even without a separate fastening device, the fabrics overlap each other and the contents do not fall out.

 

 Although it requires some hand sewing  It doesn't take very long
It's also great for using up scrap fabric.

  Materials used

4 oz adhesive cotton 
19cm * 19cm 

Outer material, lining - 20 count plain weave cotton
21cm*21cm

Decorative laces 45 cm
Wooden beads for lacing

Making process

On one corner of 19*19 size adhesive cotton

Please draw a square measuring 10cm * 9cm.

Cut out the drawn square.

It's pattern completion.

On the fabric exterior

Attach the adhesive cotton.

Mark the 1cm seam allowance

Align the outer fabric with the lining.

Secure with pins and cut along the marked seam allowance.

Leaving a window hole on one side

Sew along the edges of the adhesive padding.

Fold and iron the seam allowance at the window opening.

Trim the seam allowances at each corner diagonally.

Insert the scissors diagonally into the concave part of the seam allowance.

Flip it over through the opening.

After ironing it neatly

Please seal the window hole 

Distinguish between the 10cm side and the 9cm side

Fold the 9cm section to the side.

Please make sure the edges are aligned properly.

Connect by hand sewing.

This is how it became a cylinder with one half missing.

Fold it carefully so that it looks like the shape below.

We'll sew the area marked with a white arrow to seal it.

Leave about 0.7cm of space at one end, and hand-sew the remaining sections.

There should be a hole at one end like this.

We'll also sew the side with the arrow below to seal it.

Similarly, sew, leaving 0.7cm at one end.

If it looks like this, you've done well.

Just attach the string. 
Insert the string in the direction of the down arrow.

When attaching a string, it is convenient to use tweezers or forceps.

Place the beads on the circled side of the string and make a knot.

If you don't have a bead, you can skip it, but you need to tie the knot several times so that it doesn't fall off even if you pull the string.

Insert the other end of the string in the direction of the down arrow. 

Put the beads on

Put it back in through the hole where the string came out.

Insert a bead back into the end of the string that escaped and tie a knot to prevent the string from falling out.
