I made a lucky bag to wish you lots of luck in the new year~
As you know, hand sewing takes a lot of time^^;;
So, I've prepared a quick tutorial on how to make one using a sewing machine.
◎ Hand Sewing ◎
1. Supplies: 6 outer fabric pieces, 6 lining pieces (1cm seam allowance each), thread, string, needle, pins, scissors, ruler, spatula, and a tamper (needed for threading the strings - you can also use a large needle)
I'm attaching a drawing, which is a bit embarrassing to call a pattern.
Print it out on A4 paper and use. It's about 17cm from end to end.
2. Connect the pocket section: After marking a line with a spatula, fold the petal section and the pocket section to separate them. Wrap only the pocket section around the flower, insert a scissors, and sew it in place, making sure to create a pretty curve.
3. Connect all six in the same way.
4. Please make the lining the same, and then put it inside to meet with each other.
5. Connect the petals: Insert scissors into the entire area and sew along the curves beautifully.
6. Inserting the string: Secure the petals to the pocket, sew a groove around the top 0.7 to 1 cm, and then insert the string so that it extends to both sides using a tack cloth.
7. Finishing: Fold it up nicely and decorate.
◎ Using a Sewing Machine ◎
1. Prepare the materials equally, then place the outer pieces together and sew the outer and inner petals first.
2. Sew the outer fabric: Cover the outer parts one by one and sew all 6 pieces side by side.
3. Sew the lining: Sew the same way as the outer fabric, except for the last side seam that will be used for the window hole. Then, lightly insert a pair of scissors and turn the entire fabric inside out. Sew the window hole in a nice curve so that the sewing line is not visible.
4. Finishing: Since the inside and outside are the same, turn it over, put the folded side inside, and iron the petals. Finish by sewing, inserting strings, and decorating in the same way as hand sewing.
