I had a little wallet like this that I got in Japan when I was a little girl and I absolutely loved it! I finally figured out how to recreate it and thought I would share it with all of you!

These little bags are based on a Japanese pattern which was traditionally sewn by hand. Many people still like to hand sew them as they are fiddly to put together and hand sewing gives you more control over the work. I personally like to use my sewing machine as it speeds up the sewing.
