This is going to be a long post where I will attempt to explain to you how I sewed my fringed leather bucket entirely by hand. I’ll be including the cutting dimensions and entire process of making this bag, which is my own design and evolved as I made it. I love it, actually! Which is a good thing, because it took me hours and hours to make.
I finally have another tutorial for the boys, it’s been too long. Every time I sew for my little guy I tell myself I need to do it more. He gets so excited, much more than his sister. He actually watched me sew this entire wallet start to finish and literally couldn’t wait to get it in his little hands.
Being the short gal that I am, sometimes it’s hard to find a great pair of jeans that fit well in the length. A couple of years ago I found some awesome deals on Lucky jeans at Buckle in the mall, and they offered free alterations. I wanted to take the jeans on my trip to visit a friend in Atlanta the next day and there wasn’t time to leave the jeans at the store to be sewn.
And they are so easy – I am going to have baskets hanging all around my house in a weeks time. I am using these above my sewing desk to hold all my notions and patterns. First I will show you how to make them, then I will tell you all the ways I think you could use them…
