2 Sided Zipper Pouch Tutorial

This tutorial is for when you want a bag with a fabric pattern that needs to face up...like the cupcakes on both sides. Super easy, and the seam is tucked inside the lining, versus Take 1's tutorial with the seam being seen just inside the bag.

This tutorial is just the basics for making a bag with no bottom seam. It would have worked much better with another pattern because now my cupcakes are upside-down on the reverse side. But the pouch is just to hold my markers so I don't mind.

I love these little baskets. They're multiplying around the house like bunnies. There is one for each project I have going. I think I need more!! They hold embroidery thread, rotary cutters, or pincushions perfectly.

These pincushions are so fun to make! You can make them simple, with one or two fabrics, or scrappy! Embellish them with hand embroidery or machine quilt them! They would make a great gift or swap item and are a great way to use up scraps. Ok, let's get started! :)

Fussy Cut Zipper Pouch Tutorial + Pattern

I LOVE a good zipper pouch!! I know there a ton of zipper pouch tutorials out there but I was asked by a very special person to do one, so here it is! :)

I made these little reversible fabric cuff bracelets.
I took some pics and noted the measurements because I thought you guys like to make some as well! They are super fast and easy and a great way to use up scraps. They would make great goodie bag items for a birthday party or a quick gift.

I love the look of a nicely bound quilt! It's such a great way to use a really fun fabric. It is also a great way to use an accent color or, in the case of my pattern, to bring in some color or pattern to an object that is mostly neutral or solid.

There is something so lovely and slow about hand sewing! I want to share a tutorial for a fun hexagon zipper pouch with all of you today. I know the whole project isn't hand sewn but the hexagons are and I think they are a really fun little quick hand sewing project. Let's get started!

This is one of those statement accessories that would look great with a neutral outfit… if only I owned one. I might have to go buy a white shirt. There’s something I love about the feeling of a clutch, the way it snuggles under your arm, and the way you can never totally ignore it– not like a messenger bag that just gets flung to your backside. The clutch is a real participant in the ensemble.
