Fussy Cut Zipper Pouch Tutorial + Pattern

I LOVE a good zipper pouch!! I know there a ton of zipper pouch tutorials out there but I was asked by a very special person to do one, so here it is! :)

I made these little reversible fabric cuff bracelets.
I took some pics and noted the measurements because I thought you guys like to make some as well! They are super fast and easy and a great way to use up scraps. They would make great goodie bag items for a birthday party or a quick gift.

I love the look of a nicely bound quilt! It's such a great way to use a really fun fabric. It is also a great way to use an accent color or, in the case of my pattern, to bring in some color or pattern to an object that is mostly neutral or solid.

Often the size of the lady bag is missing. And we complement it with packages, where we put everything that I did not fit in a female bag (no matter how much it was). I propose to sew a simple bag that will replace our countless packages to us.

I offer you a simple and original summer handbag, which is sewn easily and quickly.

Making this stylish and functional summer accessory is easy! To work, we will need a rectangular piece of felt 60 cm by 20 cm, a zipper 18-20 cm, a pair of holsters, any other buttons or Velcro, scissors and half an hour of free time.

I love this natural cotton material, beautiful, strong, durable, stylish, comfortable! And now the model of the bag was born, you can go to the beach and go shopping with it.

Onto the tutorial. Firstly, you will need a tin - any sized tin will do. In saying that, it will make your life easier if your tin fits over the end of your sewing machine (you will see why later in the tutorial). Wash and dry your tin thoroughly. If you choose a tin in which a smell lingers, wash it in a 20% bleach solution. It will get rid of any nasty odours left behind!!

This is a roomy eco-bag, simple rectangular shape with long handles. It replaces the package from the store.

The original zip tutorial idea I had evolved into a little zip pouch tutorial - something that you could make any size you like to fit any number of things...sewing stuff, nappy & wipes or maybe travel documents.

Here's a little square-bottomed canvas bucket. The design uses a Jordy bag style to get the squared bottom. I kept the height short so it would have a chance of standing on its own (and it does!), and the two little handles on either side are sewn onto the outer fabric with a tight zig-zag stitch.
