Download the pattern from the link above, print it on A4 paper, and cut it as shown above. The pattern includes seam allowances.

Sew together all 12 pieces of fabric, both the lining and the outer fabric, and cut the seam allowances diagonally as shown above.

(For those who are not comfortable with piecing, check out the Dresden Plate process photos. ^^)

After splitting the seam allowance and ironing it with a brush, attach adhesive cotton to the inside of the outer fabric.

Flip the triangle over and iron it again. Make the top part sharp with an awl.

The lining only needs ironing.
At this time, use your fingernail to mark the folded area as shown by the arrow above.

If you align the upper seam line with the upper seam line, it will be easy to iron as it will form a triangle shape.

6 outer fabrics and 6 inner fabrics completed

For the outer fabric, attach cotton, fold the seam allowance according to the shape of the cotton, and iron it.

Mark the finishing line on the bottom lining and fold the seam allowance along the finishing line.

Sew the outer fabric and the lining together.

Be sure to start sewing from the bottom fabric (the hexagon) so the hexagonal hole doesn't get too big when finished.

Be careful when sewing.
Iron all seam allowances with a flat iron.
This is similar to making a Dresden, right?
