This a great example of what you can do with all the leftovers from your previous knitting projects. I had a box full with all kinds of small wool balls and it drove me nuts what they were wasted like that.
You don’t know how to knit? Go ask your granny.
Throw all your wool balls into a box and twist the threads into one bigger thread.
Knit a longer piece.
Close the sides with a wool needle and thick wool thread. Turn the clutch inside out.
Construct a leather cover based on the measurements of your clutch. Punch holes along the back edge.
Attach the cover to the back of your clutch by using the wool needle and thick thread.
Attach the closure to the bag.
Voilà!
I love it! And it is great that even people who know just the basics of knitting can make this 😀
ReplyDeleteGreat project for scraps. I love the way you hold all the yarns together. Nice idea.
