How to make a round bottom Drawstring Bags | DIY String Pouch Tutorial.  DIY Drawstring Bag Tutorial: Easy Steps to Sew Your Own.

MATERIALS:

30cm of basketweave fabric, 1.10m or 1.40m wide, Linna Morata
20cm of cotton basketweave or faux leather
60cm of silver piping
120cm of cord
2 wooden beads
2 10/15mm eyelets
1 pair of eyelet pliers
20cm of fusible interfacing tape
1 spool of thread

Cut out your pieces of fabric and iron-on adhesive.

Using your iron at cotton temperature, iron the iron-on adhesive onto the back of the fabric. This is where your eyelets will be placed.

Place your two eyelets in the location indicated on the sketch

Place your piping on the bottom of the fabric using pins and stitch.

Then place the second piece of fabric just below and pin it to the piping, then stitch.

If you have a serger, you can overlock along the fabric for a cleaner finish.

Once the outline is overlocked, join the rectangle edge to edge right sides together to sew the cylinder.

Make a hem at the top of the bag and stitch it. The hem will form a hem that will allow the rope to slide inside and close the bag!

 

Then pin the bottom of the bag and stitch all around in a circle.

Turn the bag inside out and thread the rope through the hem using a safety pin.

Place the large-hole wooden beads.
