Materials:
- Printed fabric A (floral, in this example): 18 cm (based on a 110 cm fabric width);
- A different printed fabric B (orange, in this example): 12 cm (based on a 110 cm fabric width);
- Jeffytex: 15 cm (Jeffytex comes in a 60 cm width).

Instructions:
1. Using the templates, cut out the following pieces: five of template no. 1 and one of template no. 2—remember to include seam allowances.

2. Fold the five templates (no. 1) with right sides together and stitch as shown in photo 2. Turn them right side out, aligning with the fold, and press as shown in photo 3.

 3. Sew the sides of the basket as shown in photo 4. Stop at the bottom, where the two seams intersect. Open the seams and press them flat, as shown in photo 5. You can already see the shape of the basket in photo 6.

4. Position the base piece, which is a different color. Note that the stitching must begin and end exactly at the intersection of the two existing seams. If all five seams are executed as I have just described (see photo 7), you will achieve perfect corners, as shown in photo 8.

 6. Cut five templates (no. 3) from Jeffytex, without adding any seam allowance. Insert them into each point and baste in place as shown in photo 10.

Stitch along the outside of the basket, 3 mm from the seam, as shown in photo 11. Photo 12 shows the inside of the basket. All that remains is to add the lining.

 7. For the inside of the basket, cut out the following pieces using the templates: five of template no. 4 and one of template no. 2, adding seam allowances. 1

Repeat steps 3 and 4 to sew these pieces together as shown in photo 13. Fold over the edge and press. Baste the piece into the inside of the basket and finish by hand
