 Crochet Tutorial - How To Crochet An Egg Bag

Suggested yarn:
• Pierrot Yarns Snow Egg [97% acrylic, 3% nylon; 79yds/72m per 1.41oz/40g cone];   
• version A: color #04 light chocolate brown, 2 cones [60g]   
• version B: color #06 musk melon, 2 cones [60g]   
• version C: color #05 sugar yellow, 2 cones [60g]

Tools/Notions:
• 4.0mm (US G) crochet hook or size necessary to achieve gauge
• zipper (20cm/7.87")
• sewing thread

Finished measurements:

Gauge (10cm/4" square):
• pattern stitch: 19 sts and 6 rounds
Summary
Body  of  pouch: Work magic ring to begin, then ch2 for start of first round. Work in pattern stitch, increasing as indicated in chart. Work last round in sc.

Finishing:
Fold in two where marked. On each end of folded shape, seam two stitches together with whipstitch. Sew zipper to sc stitches using half backstitch.

Abbreviations:
ch = chain
hdc = half double crochet (US)
m = magic ring/magic circle
sc = single crochet (US)

Finishing

5-hdc special bobble stitch

Half backstitch
Insert needle into each sc st. Seam zipper to sc sts with half backstitch.
